Municipalities: Benefits of Bronze Monuments
Having a monument of a town’s namesake or local symbol benefits a community on many levels. Adding to a sense of community pride, these monuments become a venue for press releases and photo ops. — and a focal
point of the community.
Case Study
Our project for the town of Caribou, Maine is a prime example. We were commissioned to produce a life-sized Caribou in bronze as part of a downtown revitalization project in this northern Maine community.
We successfully initiated, developed, and executed our fundraising program for this project. Please contact us for more information on this program.
Mary Walton, the Director of Community Development in Caribou, Maine said:
“...a life sized Woodland Caribou bronze
monument created by Bridgewater sculptor Dave Hentosh and supported in part by local interests through the sale of replicas, was placed on the east side of the mall. This beautiful work of art exemplifies Caribou’s rich
and proud history as a community and is fast becoming one of our greatest tourist attractions!”
